The Čeberaki Mound

In 1993, during the excavation of the mound, pieces of striated pottery were found, which allows us to date the mound to the beginning of our era. Legends about the Čeberaki Mound say that in ancient times there was a church which stood here during St. Since then, the mound has been known by the local people as Bažnyčiakalni. It is also believed that at the beginning of the 20th century there was a stone staircase leading up to the mound. The local population remembers traces of the staircase.
