Visaginas' first city project

The original city plan - the first vision of the architects of St. Petersburg on how Visaginas (Sniečkus) should look like - is exhibited in the office of the Visaginas Public Library, located at the Sedulina al. 14/3.  In this project, each building was given a specific purpose, and industrial, residential, city centre and municipal areas were carefully planned. The architects modelled a highly developed infrastructure with kindergartens, schools, a hospital and personalised shops for men and women. This exhibit is of particular interest to those interested in the history of the city and its planning.

Tuesday-Friday: 11:00-19:00.
Saturday: 10:00-17:00.

Non-working days: Sunday, Monday.
